The BPD arrest report says a large group of women and one man entered the restaurant. The woman who was arrested was swearing about their order not being ready. After the owner, who was the only one working, said he would call 9-1-1, the group left…only to return seconds later and swore loud enough that they were heard by dispatchers. The arrest report says the woman and the man assaulted the owner for 33 seconds. The owner’s cheek was swollen, he had scratches in multiple places, and his shirt was ripped. The woman who was arrested, 20 year old Shonasia Foster, was charged with assault causing bodily injury, criminal trespassing for not leaving, criminal mischief for damaging the restaurant’s office phone and a fryer, and underage possession of a vape pen. Foster is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $14,125 dollars.

The 32nd time a Bryan woman is booked at the Brazos County jail, it’s for driving with an invalid license with prior convictions. The Bryan police arrest report shows three prior convictions for Angela Maria Lara took place in 2014 and 2018. Online court records shows prosecution was barred after Lara admitted to the same offense in 2020 and July of 2025. And she is awaiting trial following an arrest on the same charge in December 2025. Lara, who was stopped by a BPD officer for failing to dim headlights, was released from jail after posting a $3,000 dollar bond.
