Arrests For Damaging Parked Vehicles, Burglary Of A College Station Home, And Insurance Fraud

A man from Cameron remains in the Brazos County jail following his arrest nearly two weeks ago on charges of damaging at least nine vehicles that were parked at four locations in Bryan. Damage to six vehicles at a used car lot on South Texas was more than $3,200 dollars. Vehicles were also damaged in a lot across Villa Maria from the Tejas Center and in lots in the area of 29th and Barak. According to the Bryan police arrest report, 36 year old Paul Herrera said he was supposed to be in rehab and that he was not in his right state of mind. Herrera, who was arrested on three counts of criminal mischief, is held on bonds totaling $9,000 dollars.

College Station police responding to a report of a home burglary at two in the morning on Sunday resulted in two arrests. The CSPD arrest report referred to surveillance video showing 22 year old Colby Denbow of Coppell kicking in the front door and walking away. The victim said 20 year old Kelsie Real of Conroe walked in the house and punched him three times in the face. Real and Denbow are out of jail after posting bond ($10,000 for Real and $15,000 for Denbow) following their arrests on burglary charges.

A College Station man is arrested on a charge of insurance fraud. According to the DPS arrest report, 34 year old Mark Allen Jr. claimed a total loss of $2,900 dollars from a car crash he reported in March. The DPS investigator said Allen submitted the same damage involving the same car to a different insurance company almost three years ago. Allen is out of jail after posting a $2,000 dollar bond.
