A Caldwell man spent time in the Brazos County jail on Sunday (June 29) on charges from Bryan police and Burleson County. Jail records show 57 year old Michael Munson was wanted on warrants from Burleson County on charges of aggravated kidnapping and interfering with an emergency call. BPD arrest reports say a woman accused Munson of assaulting her in Burleson County. Bryan police charged Munson for fleeing from an officer and a convicted felon being in possession of a gun. Munson was released after posting bonds totaling $50,000 dollars.
College Station police officers fired three times from a taser to get a man to stop assaulting them. CSPD arrest reports say this is after the man threatened a neighbor and her family with a sword. 36 year old Robert Cooper III was charged with making a terroristic threat, assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest. A woman described by police as Cooper’s “significant other” was taken to jail for interfering with public duties and resisting arrest. As of July 1, Cooper remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $16,000 dollars. And 30 year old Bryana Pollard is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $6,000 dollars.
