A Wellborn area man was arrested on his 43rd birthday for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault of a former girlfriend.
Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk says they were notified Wednesday during the noon hour, after the victim escaped.
That led to the arrest of 43 year old Robin Shane Beyer.

The woman told officers Beyer left the house the following day to buy some crack cocaine for his birthday. She convinced him to leave her at the house because she didn’t want anyone to see her bruises on her legs, face, and neck.
After Beyer left, the woman left the house and flagged down a motorist who took her to a convenience store where a 911 call was made.
The Sheriff called it a dynamic situation because one group of officers was with the victim at the same time another group was dealing with the suspect.

The sheriff says deputies were waiting for Beyer when he returned home, but Kirk says the suspect was uncooperative at first.

Sheriff’s investigators found inside Beyer’s pickup the victim’s cell phone broken in half and her purse.
Beyer remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $215,000 dollars.
