Armored Car Robbery Suspected Captured in Central TX

ROSEBUD, Texas (AP) _ Authorities have captured a man wanted in a $1.9 million armored car robbery in Dallas.

The FBI says Donald Ray Williams was arrested without incident Sunday afternoon at a residence in Rosebud, about 35 miles south of Waco. Williams was being held Sunday night at the McLennan County Jail in Waco.

Authorities had been searching for Williams, 53, in the San Antonio area after receiving tips that he might be there. Additional tips over the weekend led authorities to Rosebud.

Williams is suspected of being one of two men who robbed the armored car while it was being unloaded at a Dallas bank on Sept. 5, 2007. Freddy Lee Foots, 53, was convicted and sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison for his role in the robbery.
