From the Brazos County sheriff’s office:
On Friday July 8, 2016, at 9:38 p.m. the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office responded to 7700 West State Highway 21 for a robbery in progress.
When deputies arrived, they contacted witnesses that were in the store at the time of the robbery.
Deputies were informed that a Hispanic male described as 5’6” and heavy set, entered the store and demanded money.
During the robbery the suspect displayed a firearm which was believed to be a pistol.
The suspect was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, a black baseball style cap with a white brim, a red bandana over his face and white gloves.
During the robbery the suspect displayed the firearm and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled the store on foot.
Witnesses did not see the suspect enter a vehicle. The suspect in this case is considered armed and should only be approached by law enforcement.
