From the TxDOT Bryan district office:
Beginning, Tuesday, May 8, 2018, motorists exiting Harvey Mitchell Parkway (FM 2818) from either direction onto University Drive/Stotzer Parkway (FM 60) will no longer be allowed to make left turns after exiting.
Motorists coming from south College Station headed toward Easterwood Airport (Snook) should continue on FM 2818 under the FM 60 bridge and turn left using the southbound ramp.
Motorists coming from Bryan headed toward the Texas A&M campus should continue on FM 2818 under the FM 60 bridge and turn left onto the northbound ramp.
Limiting the FM 60 ramps to right turns only will greatly improve safety during construction of the new interchange. Motorists should also remember that the lower speed limits in the area
will remain in effect throughout the remainder of the construction.
This work is part of the construction of the new DDI (diverging diamond interchange) which is one of only three in the State of Texas. The project is expected to be complete in early 2019.
