A&M finishes tied for 3rd in Capitol One Men’s Ranking

Following a second-place finish by the A&M Women, the A&M men’s program has tied with Auburn for third in the inaugural Capitol One Cup competition Launched in the fall of 2010, the Capital One Cup honors NCAA Division I athletics programs for their cumulative on-field performance across multiple men’s and women’s sports.

Florida was the winner, climbing from sixth to first after they reached the College World Series Championship  games this week in Omaha.

2 – Virginia (82 pts)

3 – Auburn (70 pts)

3 – Texas A&M (70 pts)

5 – Stanford (69 pts)

6 – Cal (61 pts)

7 – Connecticut (60 pts)

7 – Eastern Washington (60 pts)

7 – South Carolina (60 pts)

10 – Ohio State (52 pts)
