Two Brazos County jail inmates face additional charges while being held. One of the arrest reports from the sheriff’s office shows a Navasota man who was arrested Saturday night (June 13) for family violence assault with a prior conviction is also accused of hitting the arm of a detention officer who was trying to take him to a holding cell. 46 year old Timothy McGinty is accused in another arrest report of spitting at a nurse, which is also considered assaulting a public servant, while he was at a hospital on Monday (June 15) for an undisclosed reason. McGinty remains in jail as of June 17. Bonds from the June 13th arrest totals $66,000 dollars. Bond has not been set on the hospital assault. Another arrest report from the sheriff’s office says on Sunday night (June 14), a Bryan woman who has been in jail since June 2nd is accused of hitting another inmate multiple times in the face, head and back. 27 year old Ryenesha Pittman is now charged with assault causing bodily injury. That’s in addition to three warrants, one involving failing to pay fines and court costs of more than $2,100 dollars and warrants from an incident in August 2025 accusing her of criminal trespassing and failing to identify herself. Pittman remains jailed as of June 17 in lieu of bonds totaling $11,000 dollars.
