Police were called to the Med just after 2:30 Thursday afternoon when a small package with the word “bomb” written on it was discovered in the third flood bathroom of a medical office building.
An evacuation of between 200 – 400 people took place, with all evacuated Med employees sent home for the day.
A bomb squad entered the building and used a robot to determine the package was not a threat.
The incident has been turned over to the CSPD Criminal Investigation Division.
