The city of Bryan reports ballgames will continue at Bob Bond Park.
Those are the fields where Bryan National Little League games were in jeopardy due to expansion plans by the Texas Army National Guard.
State representative John Raney, who organized a meeting with the city and the guard that was held Thursday, says games will be played there for at least another two years.

Statement from the city of Bryan:
Today (10/27/16), representatives from the Texas Military Department met with the City of Bryan as well as State Representatives, John Raney and Kyle Kacal, to discuss the continued partnership and preservation of Bob Bond Park. This property is currently home to both the Texas Army National Guard Armory and three ball fields that host the Bryan National Little League.
Organized by State Representative John Raney, all parties joined forces to continue the positive relationship among the Texas Army National Guard, Bryan National Little League, and City of Bryan. The Bryan National Little League will continue to use Bob Bond Park as the City works with the Texas Army National Guard to ensure a long-term solution that not only provides room for expansion but also preserves this historic community park.
