Aggieland Humane Society Hosted The Bryan City Council

July marks eight years since the Bryan city council parted ways with what is now the Aggieland Humane Society.

This month’s regular meeting of the city council started at the humane society’s property on Leonard Road.

Director Kathy Bice says they presented their master plan for the next 50 to 100 hundred years.

The council was told about their 11 programs that has led to the first time of achieving a 90 percent save rate that including feral cats and dangerous dogs.

Bice says the organization’s future includes a climate controlled and user friendly facility.
