Aggie Softball Earns #15 National Seed And Set to Host the College Station Regional

The Texas A&M softball team has been tabbed the No. 15 national seed in the NCAA Division I Softball Tournament and is set to host the College Station Regional beginning Friday, May 15 at Davis Diamond.

Texas A&M (36-17) hosts Big East Champions UConn (31-26) Friday at 1 p.m. on ESPN2, while Big 12 Tournament Champions Arizona State (41-16) and Southland Tournament Champions McNeese (40-20) follow at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+. All Aggie softball games can be heard on the 12th Man Mobile app or locally on Willy 1550 AM.

The Aggies are making their 36th NCAA Tournament appearance and 24th consecutive appearance, the seventh-longest active streak in the nation. Texas A&M will host an NCAA Regional for the 18th time in program history and for the third consecutive season, marking the program’s first three-year hosting stretch since 2011-13. The Maroon & White owns a 38-10 record when hosting regional play.
