Aggie swimmer Breeja Larson closed out the 2013 FINA World Championships on Sunday with a gold medal in the 400-meter medley relay and a fourth-place individual finish in the 50-meter breaststroke…A&M junior Sarah Henry received the Female High Point Scorer award after scoring an impressive 79 points in five events at the 2013 U.S. Open Championships. Henry, was the only swimmer in the meet to reach the Championship final in five events, and she placed in the top five in all five races.

 

A&M senior Golfer Chelsea Mocio and incoming freshman Bianca Fabrizio are set to complete for the 113th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, starting tomorrow in Charleston, S.C. . Mocio advanced to the Amateur Championship for the fourth consecutive year and Fabrizio is one of 31 players exempt from qualifying for the 2013 U.S. Women’s Amateur. The Italy native finished seventh at the 2012 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship earning her the exemption.

 

Aggie sophomore defender Karlie Mueller was called up for her second stint with the United States U-20 Women’s National Team squad. The US will face the Japan on Thursday
