Aggie Jr. Golfer Named to All-Central Region Team

SARASOTA, Fla. – Aggie junior golfer Adrià Arnaus was selected as an All-Central Region performer Saturday as the Golf Coaches Association of America released the list of Division I PING All-Region honorees.

Arnaus shined as Texas A&M’s most consistent performer during his third season in the Aggie men’s golf program. The Barcelona, Spain, native appeared in 14 total events and ended play as A&M’s top individual in six tournaments while carding a team-best seven top-20 finishes.

Additionally, Arnaus led the squad with a 72.08 scoring average in 39 rounds of competition and notched 15 rounds of par or lower. He was also honored as the Aggies’ Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player at the program’s end of the year banquet.

Alongside teammate Greg Yates, Arnaus was recognized for his strong season and selected to compete in the NCAA Lubbock Regional as an individual. He finished in a tie for 33rd at the event.

A total of 155 players across six regions – Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West – earned all-region honors for 2015.
