News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

The No. 25 Texas A&M baseball team closes out a five-game homestand Tuesday with a 6 p.m. contest against HCU from Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.

The midweek bout will broadcast on SEC Network+ and may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.

Tuesday’s matchup marks the 16th all-time matchup between the Aggies (18-5) and the Huskies (11-12), with the Maroon & White holding a 15-0 record. All prior meetings between the clubs have been played inside the friendly confines of Blue Bell Park. The last time the two teams matched up came in 2025, where the Aggies outlasted the Huskies, 7-2.

The Aggie offense is powered by Caden Sorrell, who leads the team with a .393 batting average, .857 slugging percentage and 11 home runs. The junior outfielder’s 38 RBI lead the SEC and is tied for eighth-most nationally.

The Maroon & White are coming off the first home SEC series of the season against then-No. 7, Georgia, falling to the Bulldogs two games to one. The Aggies salvaged the series finale in an 18-5 run-rule victory, which was highlighted by a six-RBI performance from Nico Partida. The freshman infielder hit his first home run in SEC play against Georgia in Sunday’s contest, which also marked the first grand slam of his career.

Offensively, the Aggies rank inside the top 20 national ranks in batting average (.323), on-base percentage (.457), slugging percentage (.560), runs scored (221) and walks (150).

The Maroon & White pitching leads all programs nationwide with 2.56 walks allowed per nine innings and ranks third strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.70).
