A man is out of the hospital and out of jail after being accused of drunk driving, hitting three vehicles, a trailer, a street sign, and a house.
This was Sunday morning just after eight in south Bryan on Brookside between Nagle Street and Old College.
Officer Kelley McKethan says the driver of a pickup struck two other trucks, a car, and the trailer were parked on Brookside.
McKethan says the truck turned around at Old College then ran over a speed limit sign and struck a house.
Witnesses told police the driver, later identified as 43 year old Scott Guillory of Bryan, left on foot.
Officers found Guillory on Nagle near Brookside, where he was arrested then taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries and a court-ordered blood draw.
Guillory was transported from the hospital to jail, where he posted bond on Monday.
According to the arrest report, damage to the house, which included ripping out a gas line, was estimated at $15,000 dollars. Total damage to all the vehicles, the trailer, and the street sign was set at more than $17,000 dollars.
Kelley McKethan visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
