A Knife And A Shovel Used In A Fight Between Two Men In A College Station Neighborhood

Two landscape workers arguing while riding in a vehicle in a College Station neighborhood during the noon hour Friday ends in a fight involving a knife and a shovel.

College Station police report the man with the knife went to a hospital where he was treated and released for a bump and a cut to his head.

The man with the shovel was found at his home and said he received a minor cut to one of his fingers which required no medical attention.

According to a CSPD news release, the man with the shovel said he was defending himself against the man with the knife.

WTAW News learned the argument began as just verbal. Then it escalated after one of the men became offended about what was being said by the other man.

It’s not known what was said, and it’s not known if the man who made the offensive remark was the one with the knife or the one with the shovel.

The altercation took place on Bluestem Circle, which is west of Longmire and north of Rock Prairie.
