The arrest of 25 year old Nathan Ledezma of Bryan included the assistance of a Robertson County deputy sheriff and his canine partner, who detected the vape pens that were in unopened packages.
Ledezma is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $55,000 dollars.
A Bryan man is being held on more than $100,000 bond after an alleged assault involving his girlfriend and their 11-day-old child. Bryan Police responded to a disturbance call at the Forest Grove Apartments at 3105 Leonard Road just before 8am on July 9, 2026. A neighbor called 9-1-1 to report they could hear a woman screaming in a nearby apartment. Officers arrived to find a woman bloodied and her face swollen. Arrest reports say her boyfriend, 29-year-old Angel Gustavo Leija, “threw” their infant onto a blanket before initiating the assault where she was thrown to the floor and punched in the face. The dispute allegedly began because Leija was upset that the victim did not want him to hold the baby because he had been drinking. Leija was booked on Unlawful Restraint ($20,000 bond), family violence assault causing bodily injury ($40,000 bond), interfering with an emergency call ($5,000 bond), child endangerment ($40,000 bond) He remains in the Brazos County Jail on $105,000 bond. Brazos County Jail records show Leija was arrested on March 28, 2026 for family violence assault, but that the case refused or rejected.
College Station Police made an arrest following a hit-and-run crash Friday night. CSPD was called to Longmire Drive and Rock Prairie Road just after 9pm on July 10, 2026, when a woman says a pickup ran a red light and collided with her vehicle. The driver of the pickup, 63-year-old Sandra Jennings Huddleston, left the scene unaware that her license plate came off in the crash. According to arrest reports, when officers arrived at Huddleston’s home a short time later, she admitted to being involved in the crash, and said she did not think she did anything wrong by leaving the scene. The officers report that her speech was slurred and she smelled of alcoholic beverages. A field sobriety test was initiated, which she failed. Huddleston was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to stop and provide information after a crash resulting in at least $200 worth of damage. She is out on $7,000 bond.

FRIDAY, JULY 10 Southbound mainlanes between Harvey Road and Texas Avenue – Full Closure – 8:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. All southbound traffic must exit through the Southwest Parkway exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes at the Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive traffic signal. Additionally, the ramps north of Harvey Road, Southwest Parkway and Harvey Mitchell Parkway will be closed. Please note that ramp closures will begin at 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY, JULY 12 Northbound mainlanes between Barron Road and Harvey Road – Full Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. All northbound traffic must exit at Rock Prairie Road and may re-enter the mainlanes south of Harvey Road. Entrance ramps south of Barron Road, Harvey Mitchell Parkway, and Southwest Parkway will also be closed. Drivers traveling to Texas Avenue should use Harvey Mitchell Parkway/Southwest Parkway and turn left onto Texas Avenue. When the mainlanes reopen, northbound traffic will be shifted from the existing mainlanes onto the newly constructed temporary widening pavement. Drivers should be alert for the new traffic pattern and follow all posted signs.
