A Bryan man is going to prison for the third time for evading arrest.

Online records show this is the 31st criminal case in Brazos County district court involving 37 year old Marcus McKever.

McKever and the district attorney’s office reached a plea agreement on February 13th where he was sentenced to eight years.

This conviction followed an arrest in May 2023 where he was with several women who were arguing near Bryan’s Scurry Park.

The Bryan police report said McKever ran away and hid under a vehicle until he asked for a specific officer, who convinced him to get out.

McKever’s prior prison sentences for felony evading were in 2017 and 2013.
