Former A&M All-American Bone Named WNBA All-Star

NEW YORK- Former Texas A&M All-American Kelsey Bone was named to the WNBA Eastern Conference All-Star team on Tuesday. Bone, who plays for All-Star hosts Connecticut, is a reserve for the game on Saturday, July 25 in Mohegan Sun Arena.

Bone is the second Aggie to be selected to a WNBA All-Star game, joining Danielle Adams, who was selected in 2011, her first season with San Antonio. Both Bone and Adams were selected to their first All-Star teams when their home franchise was hosting the game.

Bone is averaging 15.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 2015. She was an WNBA All-Rookie selection in 2013, then playing for New York.

Bone played at Texas A&M from 2011-13, averaging 14.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in her A&M career. She was an All-American in 2013, and helped A&M win the 2013 SEC Tournament, winning tournament MVP honors.

The 2015 WNBA All-Star Game is Saturday, July 25 at 2:30 p.m. CT, televised on ABC.
