The College Station school district will have at least three new administrators when classes resume in August.

CSISD’s new human resources coordinator is Nkrumah Dixon, who moves to the central office from the principal’s job at A&M Consolidated Middle School.

The new principal at AMCMS is Jeff Mann, who moves from the principal’s job at Oakwood Intermediate.

The principal position at Oakwood will be filled at a later date.

News release from CSISD:

Jeff Mann, principal of Oakwood Intermediate, has been named the principal at A&M Consolidated Middle School, College Station ISD Superintendent Dr. Clark Ealy announced today.

“Serving as principal at Oakwood Intermediate for the last two years, Mr. Mann has developed meaningful relationships with the students and families who will attend A&M Consolidated Middle School and will be a tremendous asset at that campus,” Dr. Ealy said.

Mann will replace Nkrumah Dixon, who has accepted a position as the district’s coordinator of human resources.

“As our number of students and staff continues to increase, we have a real need to bolster our human resources department,” Ealy said. “Mr. Dixon has a dynamic personality and is well suited to help CSISD continue to recruit and develop the highest quality teachers and employees.”

Before serving as Oakwood principal for two years, Mann was an assistant principal at A&M Consolidated High School for two years. Previously, he was the district’s athletic trainer for seven years.

Prior to his six-year stint as AMCMS principal, Dixon served stints as the director of alternative education programs for Bryan ISD, AMCMS assistant principal, and as a science and biology teacher in Houston and New Orleans.

The principal position at Oakwood will be filled at a later date.
