INDIANAPOLIS–The Texas A&M tennis teams will begin the road to the national championship at the friendly confines of the Mitchell Tennis Center, the NCAA selection committees announced on Tuesday.
Action is scheduled for May 9, 10 and 11 in College Station.
The Aggie men, SEC Tournament champions, earned the No. 8 national seed and will face Alcorn State in first-round action on Saturday, May 10 at 12 p.m. Cal and Texas Tech will begin action Saturday at 9 a.m., with the two winners meeting for a trip to the Sweet 16 on Sunday, May 11 at 1 p.m.
The A&M women, who played for the NCAA title last spring, earned the No. 10 national seed and will battle Stony Brook in the first round on Friday, May 9 at 2 p.m. Texas and Houston will face off in other women’s first-round action on Friday at 11 a.m., with the women’s second-round battle set for Saturday, May 10 at 3 p.m.
