Update:
The driver who was killed was identified as 65 year old Howard Gerber of Rosenberg.
The injured wre Rosenberg’s wife, Cheryll, and the driver of the truck, 57 year old Benjamin Short of Bryan.

One person is dead and two are hospitalized following a crash Tuesday morning in Grimes County.
DPS trooper Jimmy Morgan says it was at the intersection of Highway 30 and FM 244 in Carlos.
The driver of a northbound car, who had stopped at the intersection, then pulled out in front of an eastbound bread truck.
The driver of the car was killed. The driver of the bread truck and a passenger in the car were taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan with unknown injuries.
No names have been released.
