FRISCO, Texas (AP) _ Some holiday-loving Aggies from North Texas have loaned their massive Christmas light display to Texas A&M University to deck out Chancellor John Sharp’s home.
Jeff and Bridgette Trykoski of Frisco both graduated from A&M in 1998. For a dozen years their elaborate music and lights display has drawn thousands of gawkers.
The Dallas Morning News (http://dallasne.ws/18aGT8a ) reported Thursday that the Trykoskis, at the request of A&M, donated their equipment and time for the display in College Station. The finished production will include about 40,000 lights and coordinated patriotic and holiday music.
A private reception is planned Dec. 7. A bus schedule is expected to be set up later for public viewing of the home along a private road.
The Trykoskis plan to resume their own light show in 2014.
