Two Bryan men in jail on other charges are now accused of last September’s armed robbery of the Papa John’s Pizza in north Bryan.
Police say 30 year old Stanturas Perry and 29 year old Barry Williams were identified by someone who overheard Perry talking about the holdup.
According to the arrest reports, Perry denied any involvement.
When detectives told Williams that Perry had identified him as the gunman, Williams said Perry was filling out a job application when he pulled out a b-b pistol.
And investigators had a fingerprint belonging to Perry that was taken from the application.
Perry is also being held for last month’s armed robbery of the Fast Start convenience store on west Highway 21.
Williams is accused of a pair of arson-related residential burglaries. Bonds on each man total more than $100,000 dollars.
