BTU Repair Crews Out 24 Hours From Sunday’s Storms

Storms early Sunday morning meant no power for some BTU customers until late Sunday evening.

1,500 customers were affected in northern and eastern Brazos County, including Bryan, College Station, Wixon Valley, and Kurten.

While most had power back by mid-morning, some were out until 11 p-m.

And repair crews were out for 24 hours, through 4:30 Monday morning, completing repairs and surveying damage caused by high winds, downed limbs, and lighting strikes.

BTU asks customers who notice damaged utility lines to call 979-822-3777.
