For the fourth time, a Bryan man has been convicted of drunk driving.
49 year old Michael McGruder was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
McGruder was arrested September 27, 2011 after a witness reported a suspicious person in her apartment complex.
Prosecutors charged McGruder with being a habitual offender, citing four prior prison sentences from 19 prior convictions, including three prior DWI’s and five other felonies.
McGruder elected to have his trial before a judge instead of jury.
Brazos County District Judge J.D. Langley found McGruder guilty and also imposed the sentence.
