SAN ANTONIO (AP) _ Tony Parker had 22 points and the San Antonio Spurs never trailed in beating the Charlotte Bobcats 102-78 on Wednesday night, extending their winning streak to nine games. Kawhi Leonard added 18 points, Danny Green had 17 and Tiago Splitter 15 for San
Antonio, which has won 17 straight at home. Ramon Sessions came off the bench to score a team-high 22 points for Charlotte,
which has lost five of six. Kemba Walker (16 points) and Ben Gordon (11) were the only other Bobcats in double figures. With coach Gregg Popovich back on the bench after missing three games with an illness, San Antonio went 9 for 16 on 3s (56 percent) and shot 55 percent from
the field.
DENVER (AP) _ Danilo Gallinari scored a game-high 27 points, Kenneth Faried had 19 points and nine rebounds and the Denver Nuggets beat the Houston Rockets 118-110 Wednesday night. Andre Iguodala had 15 points for the Nuggets, who have won five straight and beat Houston for the third time this season.
Jeremy Lin scored 22 points to lead the Rockets and James Harden and Chandler Parsons added 21 each. Houston had won three straight, including a 45-point win
at Utah on Monday. Two 3-pointers by Gallinari and some missed shots by the Rockets sparked a 24-3 Nuggets run that gave them a 101-88 lead with 6:54 left.
Houston clawed back and pulled to 106-102 with 2:55 left, but consecutive buckets by Andre Miller and Ty Lawson made it an eight-point game and Denver
closed it out.
