College Station’s Northgate district launches the holidays in a unique way Thursday evening.
Director Chris Scotti says it’s the first time for a full-blown program, including 18 lighted trees and unique decorations.
Thursday night’s ceremony, which starts at 6:30 p.m. on the promenade, will also include Christmas carols led by members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
There is no charge for street-level parking.
The trees will remain lit through New Years Day.
Chris Scotti visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
