DALLAS (AP) _ A Dallas police officer fired last month is accused of sexually assaulting another woman who came forward after hearing about his earlier arrest.
Dallas police Sr. Cpl. Kevin Janse said Thursday that 26-year-old Jeffrey Damon Thorn is being accused of a second on-duty sexual assault charge.
Janse says the woman came forward after seeing Thorn’s photo on the news.
Thorn was out on bond for the June arrest when he turned himself in Tuesday.
In the June case, he allegedly threatened to take a woman to jail unless she performed oral sex in his squad car. Janse did not give any details on the second assault.
Thorn remained in custody Thursday at the Dallas County Jail with $25,000 bail set. The jail did not have the name of Thorn’s attorney.
