St. Michael’s Episcopal School celebrated their 40th anniversary this week, and it will not be the last.
Earlier this year, the school was facing closure due to lack of funds. Through financial support from the community and a six-digit challenge grant made by an anonymous donor, the school raised enough money to stay open.
Head of School Kate Lucchese said they have erased their debt and learned from their financial mistakes in the past. The school now has a financial committee and a balanced budget to keep them on track in the future.
