Bryan Traffic Advisory

Motorists in north and west Bryan will continue to contend with an oversized load on Wednesday. But it won’t as bad as originally planned.

Officer Jon Agnew says the parade of vehicles, transporting refinery equipment from Houston to Canada,  is parked along the freeway’s northbound service road south of Highway 21.

The convoy first stopped along the feeder road by Sam Rayburn Middle School.  Agnew says the group moved north after officers explained the volume of school traffic delivering students.

While away from the school, commuters still need to slow down and move to the outside lanes of the feeder road.

After 9 a.m. Wednesday, the convoy will resume its trek from Houston to Canada. Agnew says the route is north on the feeder road to Highway 21, then west to Texas, north to 2818, south to Sandy Point Road, then west to OSR.

WTAW’s Bill Oliver gets an update on the oversized load parked in Bryan from Officer Jon Agnew.
