For the second time this week, a Bryan ISD school bus is struck while in the process of taking students home.
Bryan ISD spokeswoman Sandy Farris says Thursday afternoon, a motorist pulled out in front of the bus at 26th and Regent in the downtown area. The bus was transporting students from Stephen F. Austin Middle School.
Farris says a couple of students complained of neck pain, and were transported by EMS at the request of parents for medical treatment. The remaining 46 students were moved to another bus.
Tuesday afternoon, a bus transporting students from Branch Elementary was rear-ended while stopped on Leonard Road.
Bryan ISD’s Sandy Farris visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
