Consol Reward Program to Stop Fighting

Less than a week into the College Station ISD school year and a student has been arrested for having a THC vape at school. Arrest records say the 17-year-old student from A&M Consolidated High School was arrested on Tuesday after the device fell out of his pocket. We are withholding his name due to his age. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 (under one gram) in a Drug-Free Zone. He remains jailed on $15,000 bond. A man who was arrested last week for Public Intoxication after harassing two female students outside A&M Consolidated High School on August 18th, was arrested again. 36-year-old Bob Esquivel was picked up again by College Station Police on Tuesday. Reports say Esquivel approached a home in the 1200 block of Carolina Street around 10:30pm and tried to talk his way into the residence. He reportedly asked the residents if they liked cookies and offered to conduct bible study with them. He smelled of alcohol and had trouble walking. He was booked into the Brazos County Jail for Public Intoxication and was again released on a Personal Recognizance Bond of $300, the same as last week. This was Esquivel’s 27th booking into the jail and his 10th arrest for Public Intoxication. He also has numerous arrests for criminal trespass, as well as assault of EMS personnel and possession of a controlled substance. *This is his booking photo from last week. The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen rental skid steer on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The yellow and grey John Deere 333P skid steer owned by Equipment Share was being used to install fiber optic lines in Burleson County. The equipment had been parked at the intersection of County Road 443 and FM 50 and was last seen on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Using GPS tracking data provided by the rental company, officials located the skid steer in a wooded area on private property in the Clay community near Snook. They say the equipment was visible from the road. A search warrant was obtained and executed. The equipment was positively identified by matching identification numbers. The skid steer was returned to the rental company without damage. Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office.
