The Bryan school district released the following information Tuesday:
Two Bryan ISD elementary schools will have new principals when the 2011-12 school year begins on August 22.
Jason Puente will be the principal at Jones Elementary. He was principal at Branch Elementary for the 2010-2011 school year and previously served at Jane Long Middle School as an assistant principal. He has been with Bryan ISD for eight years and has nine years in education.
James Henry will assume the principal’s position at Branch Elementary. Henry was previously an assistant principal at Rudder High School. He is a 12-year veteran of Bryan ISD, with 26 total years in education.
