There’s some normalcy for a group of local children following the trauma of being placed in foster care.
Bryan Police Officer Jon Agnew says about a week and a half ago the kids’ parents were arrested, their home was condemned, and their dogs were seized.
Agnew says a fellow officer decided to reunite a Chihuahua named Goofy with the kids.
The four children, ages nine to 16, are together staying with one foster family.
Agnew says the officer worked with animal control, the animal shelter, and Child Protective Services to get Goofy back to the kids.
