Texas A&M Men’s Golf Standout Wheaton Ennis Earns All-America Honorable Mention

Texas A&M standout Wheaton Ennis claimed Golfweek All-America Honorable Mention recognition, the media outlet announced Wednesday.

The Eagle, Idaho, product was recognized for his outstanding sophomore campaign. Ennis earlier claimed PING All-Central Region Team status.

The Eagle, Idaho product finished the season slotted No. 29 in the Scoreboard National Player Ranking powered by Clippd, peaking at a career-best No. 21 following a runner-up finish at the NCAA Bryan Regional.

Ennis owned six top 10s this season. He also placed third at the SeaBest Invitational and the talent-laden Valspar Collegiate Invitational. He posted a 68.8 adjusted scoring average thru 41 rounds with an 962-248-47 W-L-T.

Playing in every tournament since arriving in Aggieland, Ennis owns 18 top-20 finishes, including nine top 10s. He has participated in two Patriot All-America Invitationals and the 2024 U.S. Amateur. Last season he claimed SEC All-Freshman Team and GCAA Freshman All-America status.
