Four College Station Police Arrests On Multiple Charges

Two brothers from Bryan that College Station police arrest reports say have been habitual problems in the Northgate district returned to jail over the weekend. Both were seen in the Northgate district Sunday (March 22) after the bars closed disobeying crosswalk signals while crossing University. After the brothers were caught, both of them resisted arrest, resulting in an officer sustaining numerous scrapes and bloody cuts to his right wrist and hand. 21 year old Malik Hammond, who went to jail for the eighth time since September 2023, is awaiting three criminal trials in Brazos County courts. As of March 23rd, Malik remains held in lieu of bonds totaling $12,000 dollars for resisting and for obstructing or retaliation. 20 year old Makhi Hammond, who went to jail for the ninth time since November 2022, is also awaiting three criminal trials. Makhi is out of jail after posting a $6,000 dollar bond.

College Station police had to remove a gun from a man’s waist as part of responding to a domestic violence call Saturday night (March 21). The CSPD arrest report says the man told the officers he was armed as he was reaching into a pants pocket. 23 year old James Terrell of College Station went to jail for the sixth time since February 2022 on a charge of family assault causing bodily injury for pulling a watch off the victim. He was also charged with interfering with a 9-1-1 call and resisting arrest. As of March 23, Terrell remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $21,000 dollars.

College Station police make an arrest after responding on February 15th to 17 calls of gunfire south of the Texas A&M golf course. No one or no homes were hit by shots fired from five suspects. Arrest reports say 17 year old Jaquris Jackson of College Station and a juvenile for deadly conduct and unlawful carrying of a weapon. Officers say the gunfire was part of what was supposed to be a fight between two groups of girls. Each group brought young men with them. Investigators used video to identify Jackson and nine other people. As of March 23rd, Jackson remains held in lieu of bonds totaling $60,000 dollars.
