Bryan Police Arrests For Someone Who Stole Electronics Out Of A Crashed Car And Someone Who Cut Wiring From A Car’s Steering Column

One of the drivers involved in a crash in Bryan at 29th and Briarcrest last Sunday night (March 8) was also the victim of a theft. That driver was able to use a tracking device in his backpack to tell Bryan police officers the location of his stolen backpack containing more than $2,600 dollars of items. That led to a 20 year old Bryan man going to the Brazos County jail for the sixth time in the last three years. Juan Arredondo III is out of jail after posting a $10,000 dollar bond. The property in the backpack that was recovered includes a laptop, an iPad, an iPhone, a pair of Air Jordan shoes, and an inhaler. Arredondo told officers according to the arrest report that he intended to give them to the victim. At the time of his arrest, court records show Arredondo was on probation for the second time after pleading guilty to a probation violation after pleading guilty to making a terroristic threat causing imminent threat of serious bodily injury.

A Bryan woman tells Bryan police that she cut the wires on the steering column of a car in May 2025 because she was angry and needed to destroy something. That’s according to a BPD arrest report where the 20 year old woman went to jail last Friday (March 6) on a charge of felony criminal mischief. The victim told officers his car was totaled after the cost to replace the wiring harness was $3,500 dollars. Nevaeh Frank is out of jail after posting a $5,000 dollar bond.
