Bryan ISD will delay the start of school by two hours on Tuesday (January 27).

College Station ISD will delay the start of school by two hours on Tuesday (January 27).

All Blinn College District campuses will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27th. All classes and activities scheduled to begin before 10 a.m. are canceled.

St. Joseph Catholic schools in Bryan will start at 10 a.m. on Tuesday (January 27).

Brazos Christian school in Bryan will start Tuesday (January 27) at 10:00 a.m.

Two hour delays are taking place Tuesday (January 27) at Navasota, Iola, Normangee, North Zulch, and Calvert ISD’s and Madisonville and Anderson-Shiro CISD’s.

Franklin ISD is closed Tuesday (January 27).

Hearne ISD is closed Tuesday (January 27).

Caldwell ISD campuses are closed on Tuesday (January 27) and several district events have been canceled or rescheduled.

Snook ISD is closed Tuesday (January 27), including extracurricular activities.

Buffalo ISD is closed Tuesday (January 27) and there is a delayed start on Wednesday (January 28).

Centerville ISD is closed Tuesday (January 27) and will have regular hours on Wednesday (January 28).

Oakwood ISD is closed Tuesday (January 27) and is scheduled to return to regular hours on Wednesday (January 28).

Leon ISD is closed Tuesday (January 27).

City of College Station offices and facilities are closed and trash pickup and recycling collections are pushed back one day through the end of the week (Monday’s routes on Tuesday, etc.

City of Bryan trash collections will be picked up the day after the regularly scheduled day this week. For example, if your container, brush or bulky collection is normally Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday.

Warming Center information:

The Facebook page Sweet Oak Collaborative has information about Bryan/College Station warming centers and the need for volunteers and donations to run the warming centers. A warming center will open Saturday (January 24) at noon at Bryan’s United Methodist Church.

A warming center at the Navasota Center will be open Sunday and Monday (January 25-26) from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.

The city of Hearne will have a warming center at the Teal Center, located at 1302 Milton Street, from Friday (January 23rd) at noon through Tuesday (January 27th) at noon.

The Calvert Senior Center located at 208 W Texas will serve as the City’s Warming Centers for all. Opening hours will be Saturday (January 24) around 3 p.m.

There is a warming center in Anderson at the Anderson-Shiro junior/senior high school cafeteria on Sunday and Monday (January 25-26) from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Bedias Civic Center has been added as a warning center from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

A warming center at the Madisonville First Baptist Church and will remain open as needed.

There is a warming center at the Jewett civic center.

Prior announcements of cancellations and postponements:

Bryan city and court offices are OPEN on Monday. But any payments due on Monday, January 26, will be accepted as timely on Tuesday, January 27. And any person scheduled to appear in Bryan municipal court on Monday (1/26) may reschedule without penalty be contacting the court no later than Tuesday (1/27) for a new court date.

Brazos County offices for non-essential employees are closed Monday, January 26.

Wickson Creek special utility district office is closed Monday, January 26.

George Bush presidential library and museum is closed Monday, January 26.

Brazos Transit District reports all services on Monday, January 26 will be delayed until 10 a.m.

Texas A&M has announced that for Monday, January 26, Bryan/College Station classes are canceled and non-essential campus operations are Jan. 26. Eligible employees will work remotely. More information is at emergency.tamu.edu.

All Blinn College District campuses will be closed, and all classes and activities are canceled Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, January 25-26.

All Sam Houston State University locations are closed through Monday, Jan 26 due to icy conditions. All classes are cancelled. Generals Market will remain open for students.

Robertson County school districts with no classes on Monday, January 26 are Franklin ISD, Hearne ISD, Mumford ISD, and Calvert ISD.

Grimes County school districts with no classes on Monday, January 26 are Navasota ISD, Anderson-Shiro, and Iola ISD.

Burleson County school districts with no classes on Monday, January 26 are Snook ISD, Caldwell ISD, and Somerville ISD.

Madison County school districts with no classes on Monday, January 26, are North Zulch ISD, Madisonville CISD and Midway ISD.

Leon County school districts with no classes on Monday, January 26, are Centerville ISD, Buffalo ISD, Leon ISD, and Normangee ISD. Oakwood ISD’s calendar on the district’s website says January 26 is an enrichment Monday where attendance is not required.

City of College Station Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed Saturday and Sunday due to the expected winter storm. All weekend programs and events are canceled. Closed locations include Gary Halter Nature Center, Lincoln Recreation Center, Meyer Senior & Community Center, and Southwood Community Center. Refunds will be issued for Junior Master Naturalist. The Latin Dance Social has been rescheduled to Saturday, Jan. 31, from 7–10 p.m. at the Southwood Community Center. Restrooms throughout the parks system are closed and will reopen when conditions allow. Water fountains will remain off until spring.

The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra has cancelled Sunday’s (January 25) Video Games Live concert and Monday’s (January 26) Children’s Concert.

The George Bush Presidential Library & Museum will be closed Saturday, January 24 and Sunday January 25.

College Station High School’s fine arts department has rescheduled the Saturday (January 24) performance of Disney’s Frozen, The Musical, to Tuesday (January 27) at 7 p.m. More information is on the CSHS fine arts department’s Facebook page.

Camp Hearne Historic Site in Hearne will be closed Saturday (January 24).

Saturday’s (January 24) Brazos County First Responders Association’s third annual chili cookoff has been cancelled, according to the organization’s Facebook page.

Saturday’s (January 24) The Aggieland Farmers Market at Post Oak Mall is cancelled. The Brazos County Farmers Market at Bryan’s Midtown Park will be open, though fewer vendors are expected to participate.

The city of Calvert’s administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to inclement weather. Police will be on regular patrol, and Public Works personnel will be on call.

Sunday’s (January 25) Lunar New Year celebration at Ringer Library has been cancelled.

Texas A&M women’s tennis has cancelled its match on Saturday (January 24) vs. Michigan State.

Tipoff for Saturday’s (January 24) Texas A&M men’s basketball game at Reed Arena against South Carolina has been moved up to noon.
