Bryan police make one arrest after a tow truck driver who was trying to remove a car is assaulted and attempts are made to damage his truck.

The BPD arrest report did not say if the driver received medical treatment after he was struck in the face multiple times.

The arrest report did not say anyone was charged with assaulting the driver.

One person who went to jail was on charges of criminal trespassing and interfering with public duties.

At least four officers responded to what the arrest report described as 39 year old Lisa Pineda “causing a breach of the peace by attempting to incite a riot with the others on the roadway and refusing to get out of the tow truck”.

Pineda, who told an officer according to the arrest report that “she could had made better decisions but did not”, is out of jail for the 17th time since February 2004 after posting bonds totaling $6,000 dollars.
