A Bryan man tells Bryan police on Christmas Day that he was filled with “righteous anger” before stabbing a cousin in the ankle.

That’s according to the BPD arrest report where 37 year old Jeremy Carson was arrested for family violence aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

The victim told officers while he was cutting the hair of another cousin, he felt a dull pain on his left ankle.

The victim said turned around and saw Carson standing with an army knife in his right hand.

The victim ran out of the house and drove himself to the emergency room for treatment of the injury.

Carson told officers he blacked out before the stabbing, and when he regained consciousness, he saw his knife on the ground with blood around the knife.

As of December 30, Carson remains jailed in lieu of a $50,000 dollar bond.
