Someone living in Bryan’s Tiffany Park neighborhood near Bowen elementary school contacts police Thursday (December 18) around three in the morning to report someone was inside their unlocked SUV.

BPD arrest reports say after a 20 minute chase, a 23 year old College Station woman is taken into custody.

Kanijah Webber was arrested for three vehicle burglaries, evading officers, criminal trespassing through two yards, and evidence tampering.

Officers found hidden inside a birdhouse, two key fobs, a bottle of perfume, and a $20 dollar bill.

Officers also recovered two more key fobs and a check for $1,100 dollars.

The arrest reports did not say if the vehicles belonging to the other victims were unlocked.

As of December 26, Webber remained in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $37,000 dollars.
