The College Station police department’s Facebook page has a post about the arrest of “beauty queens”. Nearly $4,000 of beauty supplies were recovered from three H-E-B stores in College Station and one in Magnolia. CSPD arrest reports say 295 items were taken from the H-E-B at Jones Crossing, with a retail value of almost $3,800 hundred dollars. An employee of the College Station H-E-B store at Texas and Holleman contacted police about two women who were shoplifting. Officers caught the women as they were heading to their car which was unoccupied with the engine running and parked in the front of the store. 35 year old Ladetia McClain remained in jail as of November 24th in lieu of bonds totaling $16,000 dollars. 26 year old Treneice Lenor was released after posting bonds totaling $13,000 dollars.
Saturday night (November 22) about 30 minutes before bars closed in the Northgate district, a 23 year old is seen laughing after tripping a College Station police officer and an elderly bystander. The CSPD arrest report says the officer went to the hospital for treatment of a severe wrist injury. The elderly bystander was treated at the scene for abrasions to his right knee. It took three officers to take Apolo Flores of Bryan into custody, where he was charged with assaulting the officer and resisting arrest. Flores is out of jail after posting cash bonds totaling $12,000 dollars.
