College Station police officers questioning a woman accused of breaking into an apartment were asked by the suspect if she could check on her children. The CSPD arrest report says officers found a four year old and a one year old in the mother’s vehicle which was running and was unlocked. The one year old was stuck on the floorboard between the front and back seats. And the four year old, who asked to see her mother, had to be stopped from jumping out of the car to get a toy. 24 year old Amber Daniel of College Station was arrested for burglary of a habitation and child endangerment. The arrest report does not say who took custody of the children. As of June 27, Daniel remained in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $20,000 dollars.
College Station police respond to a victim of a vehicle burglary reporting he found the suspect at the Target store. The CSPD arrest report says the suspect was initially held on warrants related to upcoming trials on charges last year of unlawful carrying of a weapon and criminal trespassing with a deadly weapon. The vehicle burglary charge was added after officers found in the suspect’s diaper bag a laptop belonging to the victim. That led to 27 year old Dequanduz Blue of Bryan going to the Brazos County jail for the 15th time in nine years. The arrest report did not say if forced entry was made into the truck that was parked outside the victim’s home. As of June 27, Blue remained in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $18,000 dollars.
