Curnock Holds Health Care Town Hall

District 17 Congressional candidate Rob Curnock held a town hall meeting Thursday night in Bryan to discuss health care reform.

Curnock estimated the crowd at about 70 people, and said the meeting ran for about three hours as anyone with comments was allowed to take the microphone and speak their mind.

The Curnock campaign has hosted a number of these in-person town hall meetings throughout the district, prompted by the initial refusal of Congressman Chet Edwards to host a similar forum.

In about a week Curnock says he will compile a report summarizing the comments he heard during the meetings and submit that document to House and Senate representatives from Texas, including Edwards.
