Bryan police received six reports of vehicle burglaries on Monday (September 9). Five of the six vehicles involved forced entry. Locations included two company parking lots in the biocorridor, a parking lot outside a medical clinic, a shopping center parking lot, outside the Traditions golf course clubhouse, and at Midtown Park. Property that was stolen from four vehicles includes a gun.
Bryan police is investigating two more gunfire incidents that were reported on Monday (September 9). One was north of the Northgate district on Wellborn Road, where officers found evidence of gunfire. No one was struck and there was no property damage. And at Brookside Apartments on East 29th, a verbal altercation resulted in a known suspect getting a gun out of their vehicle and firing it into the air. No one was struck and there was no evidence of property damage.
