There is a second shuttle bus route for Saturday’s Texas A&M football home opener.

In addition to buses from downtown Bryan, the city of College Station has added free shuttles from the tourism building next to city hall at 1207 Texas.

The newest feature of the city’s hometown tailgate event was brought up at the end of the August 22nd city council meeting.

City manager Bryan Woods extended the invitation, including city council members as private citizens.

Council discussion included a tease directed at Notre Dame fans. Mayor John Nichols said “If you see a few elves running around over there in green outfits you know Notre Dame is in town”. Councilman Bob Yancy then said “That would be water and fertilizer.”

There is also free parking at the College Station tailgate. Their shuttle requires a wristband, which you can get from Candy 95 staff who will be at the tailgate.

The College Station service will also be available during the city’s tailgate events prior to the Missouri, LSU, and Texas games.
