A College Station man admits this month in Brazos County district court to firing a gun at someone in the parking lot of a College Station apartment complex in April of 2019.

A College Station police news release at the time of the incident stated that Childs fired a gun in the direction of someone he knew who was seated in his vehicle. The person inside the vehicle was not injured.

Online court records also show that 34 year old Isiah Childs admitted to unrelated felony crimes of obstruction in 2019 and drug possession in 2018.

The plea agreement between Childs and the district attorney’s office includes a five year prison sentence.
